Machine set-up and preliminary checks
1 - Check compressor oil level
- The lubricant level must be on the "Max" line engraved on the dipstick (1);
- The level must never exceed the maximum "Max" mark.
(If necessary, top up with SEA 15W40 or equivalent)
2 - Check compressor air filter
- Check and clean the compressor air filter.
(Replace if necessary)
3 - Greasing the machine
- Grease the transmission using the grease nipple (1 - above) located on the machine body, under the eyebolt (on the side of the electrical panel);
- Grease the bypass lever using the grease nipple (1 - below) located on the piston pump delivery valve body.
- Ingrassare la trasmissione tramite l'ingrassatore (1 - sopra) posizionato sul corpo della macchina, sotto il golfaro (sul lato del quadro elettrico);
- Ingrassare la leva di bypass tramite l'ingrassatore (1 - sotto) posizionato sul corpo valvola di mandata della pompa a pistoni.
4 - Assembly of valve group

Make sure both ball valves are positioned correctly in the intake and delivery manifolds;
- Make sure the valve seat is positioned with the conical side facing down (4).
5 - Power supply (1)
Connect the power cable to the socket located on the machine frame:
- Only Mini Avant SINGLE-PHASE and Mini Avant VARIO:
Connect the machine to a power source of 17A, 230V (min 3kW).
In case of generator set min 10 kWa.
- Only Mini Avant THREE-PHASE:
Connect the machine to a power source of 32A, 400V (min 3kW).
In case of generator set min 10 kWa.
6 - Power supply (2)
- Mini Avant VARIO only:
- Connect the power cable to the socket on the control panel (1);
- Connect the supplied power cable (2) to the socket on the control panel inside the machine (3);
- Connect the remote control to the socket (4).
7 - Power supply (3)
A power cable is required in the following versions, we list the specifications:
- Only Mini Avant SINGLE-PHASE and Mini Avant VARIO
Use a 2P+T cable with a section of:
- 4 mm for a distance of up to 20m
- 6 mm for a distance of up to 35m
- 10 mm for a distance of up to 50m
- Only Mini Avant THREE-PHASE
Use a 3P+T cable with a section of:
- 2.5 mm for a distance of up to 20m
- 4 mm for a distance of up to 35m
- 6 mm for a distance of up to 50m.
8 - Pipes connection
Pump hose and air hose connection:

Connect the material pump hose to the pump outlet and the spray gun;

Connect the air hose to the pump outlet and the spray gun;
- Open the air valve on the gun.
9 - Connecting the gun
Connect the spray gun to the hose without a gasket (to allow it to rotate freely).
Always use the safety spring provided in the toolbox (1) to lock the gun locking levers.
10 - Useful tips (1)
Only Mini Avant THREE-PHASE:
- Check the direction of rotation of the motor: it must be anticlockwise, as indicated on the label located on the motor;
- If necessary, turn off the motor and reverse the polarities, acting with a screwdriver on the power socket located at the bottom of the electrical panel.
11 - Useful tips (2)
- Hopper safety grills:
If the vibrating screen on the hopper is not positioned correctly or has been raised, the machine stops completely.
In this case, put the screen back in the correct position, set the main switch to "1" and restart operations.
- Hood safety sensor:
If the hood is not closed correctly or has been raised, the machine stops completely.
In this case, close the hood and tighten the locking hook, set the main switch to "1" and restart operations.
- Material in the hopper:
The machine must always operate with material or water in the hopper, to avoid premature wear of the pumping piston.
