Machine set-up and preliminary checks
Preliminary operations (1)
Machine positioning
- Place the machine in a position that is as horizontal as possible, the maximum slope allowed is 5° both longitudinally and transversally;
- The machine must be positioned at the point of the construction site that allows the best use of the radius of action of the pipes.
*There must be passages around the machine, free from any clutter and with a walking surface without holes or dangerous protrusions.
Preliminary operations (2)
Electrical connection
Connect the machine to the construction site electrical panel or to a 16A domestic socket, with a neoprene cable (anti-wear rubber), with a minimum section:
- 2P+T 2mm for distances up to 35t
The use of an electrical cable with an inadequate section compromises the operation of the machine!
The construction site electrical panel must have:
- A minimum power of 3.3 kW at 230V;
- Adequate earthing;
- 16A fuses (type aM);
- High sensitivity differentials (30mA).
*Must in any case comply with current national regulations
Preliminary operations (3)
Pipe connection
Lay out the pipes optimizing their length (this reduces transport times and wear), while checking that they are in good condition.
The first 10 meters of pipe during pumping have oscillations of a few centimeters: it is optimal to keep this section of pipe raised from the ground and in any case it should be avoided that it rests on edges or abrasive elements to avoid incurring premature wear of the pipes themselves.
Preliminary operations (4)
Camlock couplings
- When connecting the pipe sections, check that the rubber gasket (1) is present and tighten the levers (2) completely;
- Pipes ø25x37 with a length of 15 (10+5) metres for a maximum pumpable grain size of 5mm.
*Always check that the fittings are efficient and clean
Preliminary operations (5)
- Connect the material hose (1) to the screw pump;
- Connect the air hose (2) first to the compressor and then to the gun;
- Then connect the gun to the terminal part (3) of the mortar hose.
*The machine must never operate if the rubber hose is not connected to the delivery flange and the spray gun
Preliminary operations (6)
- Connect the remote control cable (2) to the connector (11);
-
Connect the power cable to the socket on the machine.
N.B. If you use pre-mixed materials, the vibrating screen is not necessary
*The machine must never operate if the rubber hose is not connected to the delivery flange and the gun
Preliminary operations (7)
Gun
Each gun consists of:
- A connection to the material delivery pipe (1);
- A connection to the air pipe (2);
- An air shut-off valve (3);
- An air nozzle (5) with or without adjustment possibilities (4);
- A deflector (6);
As a general indication, with deflectors of smaller diameter the material is projected with a wider pattern, and vice versa.
*The machine must never operate if the rubber pipe is not connected to the delivery flange and to the spray gun
Preliminary operations (8) - Warnings
- Before starting the machine, make sure that no one other than the operators is near the machine, i.e. within one meter;
- Make sure that the protective grid on the hopper is properly fixed;
- Warning: the machine must always operate with material or water in the hopper. Otherwise, the pump will quickly deteriorate;
- After any repair or maintenance work, make sure that all the protective devices (hopper grids and vibrating screen) are reassembled and that no tools have been left inside the hopper. Tools or rags left inside the hopper can cause, among other things, the breakage of the agitator.
*Always refer to the manual supplied with the machine for complete and detailed safety instructions
