Machine start-up and cleaning operations
Machine start-up (1)
- Warm up the engine for a few minutes without running;
-
Prepare some grout (50% water and 50% cement) to lubricate the pipes before transporting the material for the actual processing;
N.B. If you have to transport/spray pre-mixed mortar, use this mortar as grout by overdosing the water compared to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Open the gun tap or the machine's auxiliary tap (1);
- Start pumping; when the grout in the hopper is almost finished, stop pumping by closing the previously opened tap (1).
*The protection grids have a mesh that stops only large bodies, but allows the passage of inert materials large enough to cause blockages.
Machine start-up (2)
- Tilt the mixer to pour the mixture into the hopper;
- Activate the pumping and adjust the pump rotation speed;
- By now acting on the gun air tap (2) it is possible to start spraying/throwing.
Cleaning operations (1)
When the agitator propeller in the hopper emerges from the last mix being prepared (it is better to make the last mix slightly more fluid than the previous ones):
- Stop pumping (close the gun tap and set the pumping selector to neutral);
- Stop mixing and lower the mixer completely;
-
Before disconnecting the transport pipes and the gun, release the residual pressure by activating the pumping in reverse for a few seconds;
N.B. It is possible to monitor the pressure level using the pressure gauge located at the outlet of the machine's pumping unit (3).
*When washing the machine, never direct the jet towards the electrical panel, the electric motors and people.
Cleaning operations (2)
- Stop the engine;
- Open the auxiliary tap and the tap on the gun (the main tap has remained open until now) and disconnect the air pipe;
- Close the auxiliary tap and close the main tap;
- Dismantle the gun and wash each part carefully, removing the deflector (1). Check that the nozzle cover (2) is free from encrustations (clean it if necessary).
*When washing the machine, never direct the jet towards the electrical panel, electric motors and people.
Cleaning operations (3)
- Unscrew the mixer drain plug and wash it thoroughly; there must be no residue left inside or outside and if the grid has been opened for easier cleaning, close it.
- Unscrew the hopper drain plug and wash it thoroughly, there must be no residue left inside or outside, then close the plug and fill the hopper with water;
- Start the engine, press the button to enable the controls, open the auxiliary air tap and start pumping the water to clean the pump. When clean water comes out of the pump, stop pumping;
- Fill the hopper again with water, insert one or more washing sponges into the material pipe and connect the pipes to the machine;
- Start pumping and the pumped water will advance the sponge inside the pipe cleaning it; after which the sponge will be expelled.
- Repeat the hose wash cycle if no clean water comes out after the sponge is expelled.
*The expulsion of the sponge can be violent. Securely block the end of the transport hose and do not point the hose towards yourself, other people, things or animals.
