Troubleshooting

The machine doesn't turn on

1. No water pressure (green light on)

If not, check:

  • That water is coming from the supply hose.
  • That the water filters are clean.

2. No electrical power (blue light on even during start-up)

If not, check:

  • The electrical power supply.

3. Insufficient electrical power supply (blue light off)

Check:
  • That the electrical cable has the appropriate characteristics.
  • That the required electrical load is available.
  • That the cable is connected to a 16 amp socket.
  • The thermal cut-out of the general meter of the construction site.

4. Air valve closed

Open the air tap on the gun and check that the compressor is on.

The mortar pump doesn't start

1. The motor protection switch trips (red light on)

  • Open the control panel and re-insert the motor protection switch.
  • Restart.
  • If the motor protection switch trips again, go to the next step.

(Do not persist with the attempts because the electrical devices could be damaged.)

2. Pump unit clogged (red light on)

  • Open the mixing chamber and try to unblock the stator and auger with the special tool provided.

3. Lance deflector clogged

Check that:

  • The gun is not clogged with material.
  • The deflector is not clogged with material.
  • The air tap is not closed.

4. Safety sensor (red light on)

Check:

  • The compressor power switch.
  • The mixing chamber proximity sensor.

The mortar pump does not start or stops while pumping

1. Air unit partially blocked

Check:
  • That the air hose is not kinked.
  • That the gun and/or deflector are clean, otherwise clean.

2. Air unit partially blocked

Check:
  • That the flow meter tap is not completely closed.
  • That the water supply hose to the mixing chamber is not kinked.

3. Air hose pinched

Check:
  • That the air hose and its fittings are not leaking.

4. Air valve
  • Open the air tap on the gun.
  • Check the on/off switch on the compressor.

Insufficient spraying of the gun

1. Air leak in the line

  • Check the air line and especially all the joints.

2. Blocked compressor filter

  • Clean and replace, if necessary.

3. Deflector

Check:

  • The condition and size of the deflector. If necessary, try a different one.
  • The position of the deflector in the gun. If necessary, try moving it back and forth to adjust it.

4. Mix design

  • Try to make the material harder and softer by acting on the quantity of water using the flow meter.

The material reaches the gun with inconsistent characteristics

1. Worn pump assembly

  • Check for wear and replace if necessary.

2. Deteriorated or unmixed material

  • Try a different batch or material.

3. Worn mixer

  • Clean the mixer and check for wear. Replace if necessary.

4. Mixing chamber

  • Check and clean the walls of the mixing chamber if necessary.

Compressor or water pump does not start

1. The motor protection switch trips (red light on)

  • Open the control panel, reinsert the motor protection switch and restart.
  • If the motor protection switch trips again, check the current absorption of the compressor and the water pump.
  • Try to restart (do not insist repeatedly, otherwise you risk damaging the electrical equipment).

If the problem persists, contact authorised technical assistance.

2. Air unit

Check:

  • That the air hose is not twisted.
  • That the gun and/or the deflector are clean, otherwise clean them.

3. Insufficient power supply (blue light off)

Check:
  • That the electrical cable has the appropriate characteristics.
  • That the required electrical load is available.
  • That the cable is connected to a 16 amp socket.
  • The thermal cut-out of the general meter of the construction site.

Does the water return to the cell wheel?

1. Line clogging (red light on)

Material cannot exit the pipe and flows back with water into the hopper:

  • Remove the clogging from the pipe.
  • Open the control panel, re-insert the motor protection switch and try to restart.

Do not insist on repeated attempts to start, as they may cause damage to the electrical equipment.

2. Worn pump unit

  • Check the wear level of the stator and the auger. If necessary, replace.

3. Reverse pumping

  • If the machine starts in reverse, the water will quickly fill the mixing chamber and rise to the cell wheel.

4. Water solenoid

  • Check the water solenoid. If blocked, the water will flow even if the machine is not running.
