Troubleshooting
Engine won't start?
If the engine does not start, it could be due to a safety sensor, so:
- The emergency button could be engaged, make sure to disengage it;
- The remote control socket cover is not closed properly, screw it on properly;
- The bonnet is open, so close it with the side lever locks.
If after these basic checks the problem persists, then check:
- Lack of fuel;
- A flat battery;
- The diesel solenoid is faulty (contact the engine manufacturer's service centre);
- The diesel solenoid wires are poorly connected, check that they are actually connected correctly.
The sparking plug preheat light doesn't come on?
During the sparking plug preheating phase, a small light should come on on the control panel to indicate that it is working, otherwise it remains off.
Then check:
- That the ignition key is actually turned, otherwise take action;
- That the F1 fuse has tripped, then reset it (inside the machine);
- That the engine preheating control unit is not faulty, in this case contact the assistance center of the engine manufacturer.
The control panel selectors do not activate the relevant function?
It may happen that the selectors on the machine control panel do not respond to the commands, so check that:
- The button for enabling the commands ("//") has been pressed, otherwise take action;
- There is power in the machine or that a solenoid is not faulty, in this case contact an authorised TURBOSOL workshop.
Does the engine suddenly stall?
There may be many factors that cause the engine to suddenly stop:
- A high temperature of the coolant, then turn off the machine, wait for the necessary time for the engine to cool (check the level when the machine is cold) and then restart;
- A high temperature of the hydraulic oil, then turn off the machine, wait for the necessary time for the engine to cool (check the level when the machine is cold) and then restart;
- A low engine oil pressure, but in this case contact the service center of the manufacturer of the engine in question.
Is the mortar pump blocked?
If a blockage should occur, if the clamp is too tight, if the material is not pumpable (for example with an excessive aggregate grain size) you must follow the instructions in the manual supplied with the machine and act accordingly: find the blockage and free the pipe, loosen the clamp screws to make the material from the hopper flow better, or remove the mixture from the machine and make it pumpable if possible.
Another factor that could lead to the blockage of the mortar pump is a failure of the hydraulic circuit, where in this case you must contact an authorized TURBOSOL workshop as soon as possible.
Is the mixer stuck?
- Check for the presence of a foreign body inside the hopper, if this is the case, immediately stop the engine, open the mixer grid and remove the foreign body. Close the grid and check the operation;
- Check the efficiency of the mixture, if it is not correct, proceed to modify it;
- There could be an anomaly in the hydraulic circuit, in this case contact an authorised TURBOSOL workshop.
Is the stator worn?
A worn stator can cause the material not to come out of the gun or even cause a blockage at the beginning of the pipe due to overheating of the material.
N.B. It is necessary to replace the stator and, if necessary, remove the blockage that has formed.
Is the mortar pipe bent?
The symptoms are the same as those of a clogged mortar pipe:
- Look for the bend and straighten it;
If the material in the hopper is no longer pumpable, the hopper must be emptied by disconnecting the pipe from the pump and pumping the material out; If necessary, remove the hopper drain plug and wash out all the material with a jet of water, then mix correctly and start again.
Is the mortar pipe clogged?
A clogged hose corresponds to a high pressure on the pumping pressure gauge.
CAUSE
- Incorrect mixing;
- Too long a pause.
SOLUTION
- Close the air tap (3) on the gun (to stop pumping) and stop the pump by returning the main switch to "0";
- Open the machine's air tap (2) and reverse the direction of rotation of the pump to release the pressure in the pipe;
- Free the gun or pipe from any blockages and try to restart;
- Monitor the working pressure and stop the machine promptly if the pressure exceeds the normal value, because in this case the blockage is still present;
- Identify where the material delivery line is clogged: at this point the pipe appears hard and rigid, the most critical points are at the fittings;

- Detach the clogged pipe, hit the end of the blockage with a hammer to break the "plug" that has formed until the hardened material comes out;
- Start the pump for a few moments and make sure that the pipe has been freed: the material must come out of the pipe regularly;
- Pour some grout into the pipe downstream of the one where the blockage occurred, reconnect the pipe line and start again. If the material in the hopper cannot be pumped, the hopper must be emptied and everything must be redone.
