Machine start-up and cleaning operations
Machine start-up (1)
- Check that the red emergency button is not inserted;
- Set the pump, mixer and pressure washer selectors to the "0" position, but above all the control selector (remote/local) to "local";
- Close the air delivery tap (1) and (2) on the machine and open the air tap on the gun (3).
Machine start-up (2)
- Start the engine by turning the key one click clockwise;
- The red warning lights will come on for a few seconds, then only the oil and diesel warning lights will come on again;
- Start the engine when the glow plug preheating light goes off;
The green engine warning light will remain on.
If the engine does not start on the first attempt, wait about 30/40 seconds and then start the engine by turning the key again.
Try again a maximum of 4/5 times.
*Too insistent and repeated starting attempts should be avoided.
Machine start-up (3)
-
Pour the grout (50% water, 50% cement or lime) prepared separately into the hopper;
N.B. The grout is used to lubricate the pipes, preventing the formation of initial blockages
- Open the air delivery tap (1) on the machine and the air tap (3) on the gun;
- Start the pump by turning the key to position "1", the pump will start to turn and pump the grout present in the hopper.
*The protection grids have a mesh that stops only large bodies, but still allows the passage of inert materials large enough to cause blockages.
Machine start-up (4)
- When the grout in the hopper has been pumped, stop the machine by closing the air tap (1) on the machine;
- Pour the mixture into the hopper;
- Start the machine by opening only the air tap on the pump. When no grout but mortar comes out of the gun, start working regularly;
- Adjust the pump flow rate to the desired value by acting on the handwheel on the control panel. An indication of the flow rate is represented by the pressure value on the pressure gauge (approximately 4/5 bar minimum flow rate, 18 bar maximum flow rate).
STARTING AND STOPPING PUMPING IS CARRIED OUT BY OPENING AND CLOSING THE AIR TAP (3) ON THE GUN.
*The protection grids have a mesh that stops only large bodies, but allows the passage of large aggregates that could cause blockages.
Machine start-up (5)
If necessary, it is possible to change the pump speed by acting on the switch located inside the hood, in the engine compartment:
- A for a low speed;
- B for a high speed.
Cleaning operations (1)
Before loosening a joint in the product delivery pipe or disconnecting the gun, make sure that the pressure gauge indicates "0" (zero) and that there is no residual pressure in the pipes: if necessary, reverse the direction of rotation of the pump for a few seconds to "empty" the pipes.
- Remove the gun and wash it carefully by removing the deflector (1), check that the nozzle cap (2) is free (clean it if necessary);
- Disconnect the pipes from the pump and insert a washing sponge (4) into the mouth of the pipe;
- Open the hopper and mixer cap to drain the residual material and close the hopper cap;
- Fill the hopper with water and start pumping until it comes out clean from the pump.
Cleaning operations (2)
- Reconnect the hose to the pump;
- Start the machine and pump water until the washing sponge comes out;
- If the sponge is unable to push the material out of the hoses, it means that the pressure exerted by the pump on the water is insufficient;
With the same tightening of the clamp, the pump exerts a significantly higher pressure on the material than on the water. Therefore, tighten the clamp until you obtain an adequate pressure. Once finished, return the clamp to the initial measurement to obtain an adequate pressure.
- If the hose is still not clean, repeat the operation.
